"Beauty resides within nature itself, often overlooked," remarks Tenkuu. 　He captures these captivating beauties using his trio of Nikon DSLR cameras, often employing two simultaneously during his morning walks around the area near his studio. Situated in Yamanashi Prefecture, his studio enjoys an extraordinary natural setting, nestled amidst Mount Fuji to the west, Yatsugatake to the north, and the Southern Japanese Alps to the south. Despite his assertion that "we might miss the beauty of nature," whatever he captures through his camera lenses undoubtedly proves to be breathtakingly extraordinary. 　He meticulously refines these digital photographs using Adobe Photoshop. In his piece "Pine Tree" (2024), he manually painted a scene in red before transforming it into a lush green using the absolute value of difference technique. Dominated by cool hues of blue and green, accentuated by subtle hints of warm tones like red and pink, the artwork eloquently captures the dynamic movements of the pine tree. 　Tenkuu ingeniously incorporated the stroke-like imagery of a red paint stain, seemingly traversing across a metal board, as depicted in "Tree Roots" (2024), adding an intriguing dimension to the artwork. Through his signature Tenkuu Magic, the vibrant pop colors infused into the tree roots transform them into more than just a natural phenomenon; they become captivating manifestations of imagined original hues, transcending mere representation. "Winter Desolation" (2024) delicately portrays the lifeless weeds against the backdrop of Kai Komagatake Mountain. Imaginary hues of pink, red, green, yellow, and blue imbue the scene, transporting viewers into a dreamlike wonderland of ethereal beauty. 　In a recent achievement, Tenkuu secured Second Runner-Up at Japan Contemporaries Series 3, a Juried Open Call curated by Motoichi Adachi and Kyoko Sato at Gallery Max New York in 2023. His works were showcased at the Ruime Showroom in Het Center, Amsterdam, the Linda Farrell Gallery in Paris, O Museum in Tokyo, and The Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo. Tenkuu, a graduate with a BFA in Oil Painting from Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan, received guidance from Jean-Marie Zacchi (b.1944), a distinguished French Post War and Contemporary artist and honorary president at The Salon de Paris.
